Dr. Cedric (Tony) A. Grainger


Professor Cedric A. Grainger received his Ph.D. from State University of New York -Albany in Atmospheric Sciences in 1973, a M.S. degree in meteorology from Montana State University in 1968, and a B.S. degree in Physics from Montana State University in 1966. He has been involved in numerous research programs dating back to the Bridger Bowl experiment in the early 1970s. He has been at the University of North Dakota for over 20 years, much of that time being involved with various aspects of cloud physics and weather modification research. While at the University of North Dakota, he has been heavily involved with the University's Citation II airborne research platform. He has participated in numerous field programs in various countries, most of which dealt with weather modification and cloud physics measurements.

Dynamic Meteorology, cloud physics, weather modification, air chemistry.
